Penetration Testing for AI-Built and No-Code Applications
Your builder’s own scanner says the app is fine. Your first enterprise customer wants a CREST pen test report with a named assessor on it, and no automated tool produces one of those. CREST-certified testers, fixed price from £3,050, scoped in 24 hours.
- Unlimited retesting
- No rescheduling or cancellation fees
- Fixed quote within 24 hours
“I would highly recommend EJN Labs to any organisation seeking reliable, detailed, and well-managed penetration testing services, particularly for government or enterprise-level projects.”
“There wasn’t another company we could find that could deliver what we needed in the timeframe we needed. The client loved it, and we got instant ROI from the engagement.”
Several builders now ship security scanning inside the product, and that is a genuine improvement. It catches the obvious, it is fast, and it costs nothing. If the question is whether your app has an obvious flaw, use it.
Why the automated check is not the thing you need
It is not the question you have. The question you have arrived with is that a customer, an auditor or an insurer wants independent evidence, and an agent swarm cannot give you that. What they want is a manual test by a named CREST-certified assessor, a report written for their scrutiny, and a retest showing the findings closed.
There is a technical reason too. Generated code tends to be correct in shape and optimistic in trust. It builds the login page properly and then checks authorisation in the browser. It creates the database table and leaves the row-level policy to someone who was never told they needed one. Those are logic failures, and finding them reliably takes a person.
ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS and Cyber Essentials Plus audits accept manual penetration test evidence. Scan-only evidence is generally insufficient.
AUTH, DATA + THE REPORT
What we actually pen test on an AI-built application
Manual pen testing across authentication and access control, tenant and record isolation, exposed keys and endpoints, and whatever the generated code assumed rather than enforced.
Authentication and access control
Whether authorisation is enforced on the server or merely reflected in the interface, role and permission boundaries, session handling, password reset and whether a signed-in user can reach an administrative function.
Tenant and record isolation
The question that decides whether you can sell to a business at all: authenticated as one customer, can we read, change or delete another customer’s records through any exposed path.
Exposed keys, endpoints and data
Keys and service credentials shipped to the browser, database and backend endpoints reachable directly, table and collection rules, and what an unauthenticated request retrieves.
Business logic and workflow
Payment, entitlement, quota and approval flows tested for manipulation, because generated code implements the happy path thoroughly and the adversarial path rarely.
Integrations and automations
Webhooks and automation steps that accept unverified input, third-party connections and their scope, and what a forged event triggers downstream.
Evidence for your customer
Findings written twice: a report your customer’s security team, auditor or insurer will accept, and a plain remediation list you can act on without a security background.
METHODOLOGY
AI-Built and No-Code App Penetration Testing: From Scope to Attestation
CREST-aligned methodology built on OWASP Web Security Testing Guide, OWASP ASVS, NIST SP 800-115, and PTES. Each finding maps to all four standards plus your specific compliance regime.
Reconnaissance
Application mapping, technology fingerprinting, content discovery, parameter enumeration, authentication-flow analysis, role-matrix construction.
Vulnerability Assessment
Authenticated and unauthenticated automated scanning across every user role, plus targeted manual checks for known weakness patterns.
Manual Exploitation
Hands-on testing by a CREST-certified pentester. Business-logic exploitation, chained vulnerabilities, privilege escalation, impact validation.
Reporting + Retest
Executive summary, technical report with CVSS scores and reproduction steps, walkthrough call, free retest after remediation, attestation letter.
CREDENTIALS
Verified Accreditations Auditors Accept
Every credential below is independently verifiable. UK procurement teams, FCA supervisors, ISO 27001 / SOC 2 auditors, and cyber insurance underwriters all recognise these standards.

FAQ
Frequently Asked
Our builder already offers pen testing. Why pay for this?
Because they are different products. An automated scan tells you whether something obvious is wrong. This gives you a manual test by a named CREST-certified assessor and a report an enterprise buyer, an ISO 27001 auditor or a cyber insurer will accept as evidence. If nobody is asking you for evidence, the free scan may be all you need, and we will say so.
Which platforms do you cover?
Applications built with tools such as Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit and Cursor, and no-code builds on Bubble, Webflow and similar. These are examples rather than a complete list: what matters is that a working application exists, not which tool produced it.
I cannot read the code. Is that a problem?
No, and it is why people come to us. We test the running application the way an attacker would, then write the findings so you can act on them without a security background. Where a fix needs a developer we say exactly what to ask for.
Will you break my app?
No. We avoid destructive testing by default, work against a staging copy where you have one, and agree anything with a risk of disruption in advance.
How quickly can you turn this round?
Fixed-price quote within one business day, and testing typically starts within 24 hours of scope approval. Most single-product engagements run two to three testing days with the report inside a week.
