Why a managed platform still leaves you exposed
What remains is the part you added. Custom code embeds run in your visitors’ browsers and frequently carry third-party keys. Memberships gating is enforced by the platform but configured by you, and gated content that is still reachable by direct URL or through the CMS API is a common finding.
Forms are the other one that matters, because they collect personal data. Where submissions feed an automation, a CRM or an email service, the question is what happens to that data and whether the endpoint receiving it verifies anything.

Is there enough here to justify a test?
Sometimes not, and we will say so. A marketing site with no memberships, no forms carrying personal data and no custom code has a small attack surface. If that describes you, we would rather tell you than sell you an engagement.
When is it clearly worth it?
When you use memberships to gate anything that matters, when forms collect personal or health data, when custom code carries API keys, or when a customer or insurer has asked you for evidence.
Do you need editor access?
Read access to the site settings, custom code and CMS makes it more thorough. We also want a member account per access group if memberships are in use.
Can you test the automation behind our forms?
The endpoints that receive submissions are in scope. If the automation runs somewhere substantial, that platform may deserve its own scope and we will tell you rather than test it badly in passing.
